Old religious frameworks can no longer meet the spiritual needs of modern people. Technological supremacism is replacing human-centered values. Consumerism fuels desire, dulls inner awareness, and people have lost a sense of reverence for the essence of life and the future of civilization.
In response to this crisis, Yicheng Commonweal puts forward two distinct systems of faith:
The Civilization Faith of Social Citizens and The Spiritual Faith of Social Citizens.
They are neither a return to traditional religion nor an extension of rationalist scientism. Instead, they aim to lay a renewed foundation of values for a future civic society—one that is whole, just, and capable of evolving. These two faiths serve as both an inner anchor for individual lives and a fundamental safeguard for justice, dignity, and the ongoing progress of civilization.
